Using the UK Economy Explained: Instruction Guide
The UK Economy Explained contains a wealth of recent information about the economy
including data and statistics. The content provides a valuable source of information
which can be used in your 'A' Level Economics course.
For example, you can:
- Make use of the information in your assignments and projects.
- Save the spreadsheets to a local folder/directory and manipulate the data.
- Try out a macroeconomic model of the UK - change certain key macroeconomic variables
and gauge the effects of these changes on the UK economy against baseline forecasts.
- Go to Internet sites that are of interest.
- Print any of the material.
- Access historical data.

This menu contains the main content of The UK Economy Explained.
Clicking on the graphics of the charts will open the Excel spreadsheet which shows
the data used to create the charts.
It also includes a model of the UK economy which will allow you to change a number
of key macroeconomic variables, and then gauge the effects of those changes against
the baseline forecasts.
