Copying into other packages

Q1. How do I copy information?

A1. Select the item or text you wish to copy, and use the right click menu to Copy and Paste. Alternatively, you can use Ctrl+C to copy and Ctrl+V to paste.

Q2. How do I copy all the content of a file?

A2. Right click within the document, choose Select All, and use the right click menu to Copy and Paste. Alternatively, use Ctrl+A to highlight all the content, and then Ctrl+C to copy and Ctrl+V to paste.

A3 This only occurs when the browser installed on your PC is Internet Explorer 4 or below. To do this you will need to install a later version of Internet Explorer. For early versions of Internet Explorer 5, use the copy and paste from the right click menu. In later versions of Internet Explorer 5, Ctrl+C to copy and Ctrl+V to paste, also works.

Printing

Q4. How do I print a file?

A4. This applies to both text documents and Excel spreadsheets accessed via the menu system. Either click on the print icon from the Toolbar or select Print from the File menu. The standard Print dialog box may be displayed. Select your printer and other options as usual. Alternatively, Ctrl+P will also display the Print dialog box.

Saving

Q5. How do I save a file?

A5. Use the Save icon on the Toolbar or select Save as.../Save page as from the File menu. The document will be saved to the location of your choice.

Using the spreadsheets

Q6. I cannot edit the data in the Excel Spreadsheet.

A6. You have Excel Viewer installed onto the PC you are using. This only allows you to view the data, you will not be able to make any changes.
